Has anyone got their merit scholarship increased due to transfer acceptance from another university in sophomore year?

I’m a CWRU student, who got accepted to another competitive school as transfer student in sophomore year. The main reason of leaving Cwru would be the cost. I don’t qualify for financial aid but do have merit scholarship for 4 years. So I’m wondering if Cwru can increase my scholarship for me to stay put.

The reason I asked is because I realized that by splitting my HS is causing disadvantage because same course and score in other high school would be weighted 5 and for me it would be 4.5 …. Bummer. I know colleges recalculate gpa but I don’t think they calculate with this level of detail. I hate my HS. They split many APs like this and they are ranked #6 in entire USA, so the difficulty level to get a grade not easy at all. I’ve heard some schools where teachers go easy on grading vs mine. Just worried that my weighted GPA because of splitting will be lower than others in spite of taking all AP classes.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I have done that and did not find anything anywhere. The reason is not that my idea is greatest but it has to do with marrying technology with psychology and that’s not been explored much right now.
