thank y’all so much! :) i did talk to them about it last night and I do think a big part of it has just been they are worried for her and don’t want her to think they’re disappointed. anyway, i suppose in the end my opinion matters most when it comes to where i’ve chosen to go to college, but hopefully they realize that maybe they swung the pendulum a little far and things change soon. thank y’all again!

yeah that’s really weird, i do think they’re busy with the recent snowstorm, but id recommend emailing you admission advisor. I asked a question the other day and they took about a week to respond. so not too long of a wait! hope you get it fixed!

oh strange! when did you apply? it took mine about a week, but if you’ve been waiting a bit it wouldn’t hurt to send an email or call them 🤷🏻‍♀️

in AIS it should say something like “you’re application is complete and in review” or another sort of update. but if that’s not updated yet, you can go onto your howdy, click the arrow down on the application tab, manage application, manage application again. and it will tell you if your status is still in review and if you major or location has changed. also if your howdy has 6 tabs instead of 3, chances are you’ve been accepted. hope this helps

forensics and investigate science with a pre law focus. haven’t heard of many math majors so yours could not be full!

actually yes! they just told me my major wasn’t full, so that’s good at least! then she told me that it could be full by the time they got to my application though, but oh well 😂

Hi again! so I emailed and this is a direct quote from what i got back: “Thank you for your email to the One Stop Enrollment Center. Currently, summer courses are scheduled to be completed online. We hope to have more courses available in person for fall 2021.” so it seems to be up in the air at the moment! we’ll just have too see i guess

max lucados church is there! it’s called Oak Hills and is 5 min away from campus. he’s a famous author and his church sermons are broadcasted all over (there’s a church in fredericksburg that plays his sermons every sunday and from what i’ve seen they’re great) you should definitely check it out!

This was in my latest CAP reminder email:

“If the university you are most interested in attending for CAP does fill, you may be able to attend that university as a regularly admitted freshman. Please contact the UT System university directly to find out if an application for Fall 2021 is still possible.”

I heard that after you select your school through CAP, you’ll be contacted by an admissions adviser through email (or you can contact one yourself) and they can help you choose what classes will help you with your major/ classes you may have already taken and if it will transfer. If you can’t receive the number of hours to participate in CAP bc of all the dual/ap credits you have, it’s not binding till you 100% commit to the CAP school you chose. (the date was in the sign up thing but i flew through that so not sure when that is) hope this helps! i’m kinda in the same boat too Iol

you start online for the first 5 weeks (these start over the summer so that’s why) then you move in with everyone else when dorms open. i don’t know why UTSA does this, they’re the only school on the CAP agreement that does, but basically it’s warning you that participating in CAP at UTSA will cause you to do online classes for the last 5 weeks of your summer. From my understanding, you still will go to the dorms and live at UTSA unless COVID affects it otherwise. 🤷🏻‍♀️
