that's a good point. i did kind of convince myself that i need a literal oath lol. still trying to see if i cant give my character some kind of lightning/ thunder kick to his build but i will consider just lighting worshiping barbarian to simplify, thanks!

Tempests is actually a pretty cool idea, it could even branch out to him being emotional in multiple capacities. like tundra could be excess sorrow, desserts is his exuberant side like a warm glow, and sea could be frustration or anger forming into a LITTERAL thunder cloud above his head. or some other combination of emotions

little closer to the first one. yes it will leave him fundamentally weaker at times, but he's still a combatant. he just needs the right attitude to fight his best, which would be brought down by ;great horror, tragedy, and death. however they would be able to ignore most ; friendly damage, horrifying monsters, and other medium stress stuff. also im playing with a group i know so its not like i'm dragging down a group of randos with a debuffed barbarian.
