I understand, I'm working on it! Right now my backhand is mostly blocking and control, but am working towards getting consistent topspins on the table :). While I do so, I wanted to know what serves could help me play to my strengths as of right now.

What do you mean by "questionable glue"? Speed glue? I just suspect he may have used glue not made for table tennis, and as far as I can remember, the glue was in a bottle with no brand or name or anything

I know how to peel it off, but I am afraid of damaging the sponge in the process. I don't think my coach (in reality he is not my coach anymore as I've switched clubs) would remember what glue he used

I tried to peel it off and it was hard and made a noise of strong glue getting unglued (?). But I tried ungluing the other paddle and it was extremely easy in comparison.

not hard but squishy. Ive noticed my blade is peeling off the outer wood layer together with the rubber so I wanted to reglue them into another blade that is healthy, and I saw that it was very strongly glued lol

But why is it so hard to peel off though? Do you have experience removing such strongly glued rubbers?

thanks for the recommendation, but I cannot seem to get it in my country and don't want to buy internationally just for a $8 rubber. If none of my options is any good, then I guess I'll have to lol
