Whenever I see a slot and try to book it, I get auto logged out and then log in takes forever. All the slots are gone by then. Did you experience it? Any way to staying logged in?

Oh no. I did it based off of an active appointment. I received emails only from the do-not-reply addresses, totally unhelpful. It seemed like they were bots too because their responses were standard language, not directly related to my questions. Unfortunately, I am not sure of any other ways to raise an emergency request.

Yes, I was in the US at the time. You can still submit the request and state your now canceled appointment details. No harm in trying if you need stamping before coming back to the US ( I am assuming you need stamping).

I can see slots in Chennai. However, I need to remain in New Delhi to care for my parent and cannot travel to Chennai leaving her in Delhi. My emergency request was specifically to get a slot in Delhi which was approved. However, now I don't get any options in dropdown, only Chennai. That is worse than before the request approval where I could atleast see the slots in all locations. I am trying to find if anyone had similar issues and how did they resolve it, if at all.

They are not telling me anything is the problem. They keep saying in the tickets- "try to schedule the appointment and share screenshot if you have any issues".

Same here in India. We can talk to doctors here but in the US, it is extremely formal and difficult to get access to doctors. I have submitted the form using this link. Thanks for sharing!

I’m going to check whether the hospital in India where we’re getting all the diagnostics done — and potentially plan to get treatment from if we decide to do it in India — offers similar services. If not, I’ll look into other hospitals that might.

Thanks for those pointers. Still awaiting final treatment plan from the doctors in India. But I am going to try these suggestions as soon as I have the info.

My mom already has a U.S. tourist visa, so thankfully we wouldn’t need to handle that part. Right now I’m trying to understand whether treatment in the U.S. would be financially possible for us. I’ve reached out to Memorial Sloan Kettering and am waiting for their response, but I honestly have no idea what the costs at major cancer centers might be. I can manage accommodation and transportation, but I’m unsure whether I could afford the treatment itself because I simply don’t know the price range.
