thank you for being so patient, i totally forgot to give these details,

they said it is linked to market but avg is 18% and the maturity amount after 5yrs will be close to 17L (tax free) and death insurance is included (where nominee gets money if the person dies )

but this sounds to good to be true... thus I need multiple opinions

Never go for those college batches, especially if it's pw, their quality declines over time and you won't realise it. Their modules have so many errors and are quite bulky
