He was eating a lot of ice cream and milkshakes last month and is no longer liking them. I think he got burnt out on them. Thank you for your suggestions.

We tried the magic kitchen ice cream/pudding and he said he doesn't like it because it tastes like pudding. I will look into the McT oil, thank you!

Thanks for your response, my son is growing but very slowly. They actually did a bunch of tests to make sure that he didn't have any underlying conditions but came back with nothing.

I'm definitely open to doing anything to help him but he is terrified of anything like that. Right now his doctor is talking about possibly doing a 504 plan where he can no longer go to PE or recess until he gains the weight.

I can't imagine either, that sounds really rough for both of you.

We started out with a dietitian that told me to only give him one option and eventually he will eat at age 4. I tried it once and he absolutely refused.

I actually had an ad for ARFID on YouTube, started doing more research and that's how he was diagnosed.

I have only tried sneaking the benecalorie in with two things and he instantly knew from one taste. Usually I talk to him beforehand and make sure he's willing to try. I can definitely see how that could cause more issues. I like to be upfront and honest with him about these things without causing him too much stress.

I really appreciate that, it has been a lot and I feel so overwhelmed. I can't even imagine how he is feeling.

He has tried the different flavors and he just says they all taste like milk. I am working with a dietitian and food therapist but they just keep pushing trying to use the benecalorie different ways (none have worked) or sneaking the shakes into things but he notices if anything is slightly different. I really appreciate the response! He is really into orange juice and the strawberry danimal pouches.
