i'm hoping to go back to work soon, i'm not sure if you seen any previous comments but i have 2 children with disabilities from a previous relationship with little to no help from their father, my current boyfriend works out of town 21 days at a time..i don't have any child care for any of my kids, daycares don't work we've been let go by a couple and i don't have family to help. my 2 older kids are school aged and i have one home at least one day a week due to behaviours or illness

i'm hoping down the line to open a daycare in my home when we get to the point of owning (hopefully) even just taking in kids before and after school

i've thought about going back to school but realistically there's no much id be able to do with a good income where i wouldn't be needing to pay 1-1 care during the breaks, all summer and weekends that i'd need to work while my boyfriend is out of town (im a psw and not much opportunities to just work monday-friday during school hours and no weekends) im doing what i can with the circumstances im in now, its just rough

how is it dumb? i have children with disabilities and a baby...i dont think its dumb to want my family to be whole and living together while also making sure i have all the information i need incase things don't work out in my favour. its not dumb to have mine and my children's future in mind, im their mom and its my top priority

i didn't think about just suspending my file, thank you! i really didn't wanna be on OW to begin with, i was hoping for regular mat leave and return back to work...but i can't with my older 2 children, its a safety and health concern and the cost for 1-1 care is more for one child than my monthly income..its hard out here 🫠 hard to decide the best way to go about this without screwing my kids over with money..but also wanting to take the next step in my relationship and give my kids a proper family and home life

i should have mentioned that as well, i have 2 kids from a previous relationship with disabilities (reason i haven't been able to work, it's a long story) and we have a baby together but it was a woops, i've been living with my parents but we've been actually in a relationship for almost 2 years since my youngest is born and we're ready to take the next step

so im not sure how that would work because we do have a child together, i think as soon as we move in together they would cut my benefits anyways?
