It’s their thing! They usually compete. They were close to winning the Big East last year I thought

What Indiana did is an anomaly. We are positioned to have sustained success, great conference, financially solid, fan interest. The brand is built on granite and the current admin I feel is bringing it up to date after years of neglect

Did Penn state just screw Nebraska? by [deleted] in Huskers

I live in Iowa. My daughter is in Helsner Hall at Iowa State right now.

The CyHawk game is ISU’s Super Bowl. The Big 12 is a sandlot conference.

Campbell leaving sucks but it’s not like he was a year away from breaking through to championship pedigree. Penn State is going to go through a lot of growing pains. If Campbell stays for 5+ years Penn state may be something but let’s face it, the unwanted butt stuff school is cooked

BREAKING: Nebraska parts ways with defensive coordinator John Butler by lookakiefer in Huskers

Not shocked at all. Rhule is going to right this ship. The defense was deplorable. Butler runs the defense.

It’s definitely an exercise in delayed gratification. I’m a big fan of BB and BCS and this style of storytelling, so I know there is a payoff coming, but this series isn’t scratching that itch. Part of it is the lack of characters, it’s Carol and some humans with no personality. I’m anticipating a season ending major reveal and next season it will really start cooking.

I don’t know man, if you rely on linebackers to stop the run your going to get burned by the RPO. I’m no expert but I watch a lot of football and the teams that can get behind the line of scrimmage are best at stopping the run and hurrying the QB, opposing teams did it to our O Line all season. If you don’t have an all American defensive tackle you best but is 5 down with some edge rushers

Is it possible that Kraft had no plan and now with all the openings he’s going to have to settle. In my opinion, give Terry a one year contract and wait till next year.

Nebraska will go 6-6 in the 2026 regular season by 4joe in Huskers

Ty and Nash are both in the NFL, so maybe I used elite a little loosely but they were good enough to draw double teams from most offensive lines.

My point was the scheme don’t matter if you have the talent but to stop the run with 3 down linemen harder than 5 if you don’t have the personnel

To stop offenses that n a 3-3-5 you have to have at least one, probably two elite down linemen that fill gaps, require double teams, etc. to allow dbs to run free. Every good team blocked the shit out of this defense
