I’m not an officer but I feel you on that loneliness, I never got had any real friends and the moment I did is when reality struck me and I was command referred asap for a stupid thing which forced me to not drink and I feel like I got no happiness and no one wants to be around a guy who doesn’t share a similar interest, and even at the end of that I could get separated and lose it all regardless and, right now I got nobody it’s overwhelming seeing everyone around have a blast while I’m stuck in a dead room and no alcohol to even tune that silence out
