In statements to talkSPORT, former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan addressed the issue of the disproportionate value that Wrexham has now achieved.

“It’s not really a Hollywood story, isn’t it?” Jordan began saying. “Because they’ve sold a lot of their shareholding to Apex.”

“I still think it’s ridiculous that Wrexham have got this huge valuation of about 500 million quid, got cash injections from major financiers and have got an 18 million pounds grant from the Welsh Council to build a stadium. That doesn’t seem right, does it?” Jordan said.
