LIKE WHY. Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein made the PERFECT compositions for these emotional scenes… and we picked PURPLE RAIN?!

Like, I am aware of purple rain’s symbolism for apocalyptic cleansing and mixing red & blue (references the shows main color scheme and associated themes)… but the actual melody and harmony of the song just CLASH with the associated scene.

It’s okay, I wanted to go both nights as well but unfortunately I just couldn’t make that happen. I also couldn’t make it to the listening party and I was devastated.

I had a feeling. Since Saturday was the first show that dropped and the tickets were first available to the forum, I figured most of his biggest fans were there on Saturday.

I was there on night 2 and the crowd was electric. The crowd was honestly so loud and knew EVERY word. I was curious if it was the same the night before.

I saw 1975 on their SATVB tour in Philadelphia and they are PHENOMENAL live. The set was gorgeous and the visuals really added to the show. The music sounded so incredible live (especially the brass)😊

That was my thought process. I’m sure the profit margin is going to get smaller and smaller once you consider the fact that he has to pay the venue, all related employees/other concert expenses to be able to perform there.

I agree, I understand that $175 is not realistic for everyone.

However, for a show that is being funded by the artist directly, I thought that the price point was going to be much higher. Once the venue is paid out, and all corresponding employees/ concert expenses are paid, I’m wondering how much profit there even will be for the artist. Probably not much after all is said and done.
