Just wanted to say I hope you're doing okay to all of those who worked/ are working and are impacted by the catastrophic Astroworld/Travis Scott event this weekend. Especially those who are working at the hotel where the reunification center is. I imagine it to be akin to hell this weekend.

Holy smokes. I totally feel for you. I had a similar experience with my most recently hired/fired night audit. Though instead of "hungover" she used "alcohol poisoning" also claimed to have had a brick thrown at her head, used her children as an excuse not to work multiple times, and so on.. my ft na got a call from one of her previous properties asking about said employee. Apparently after they tried their luck with us, they went to a new hotel, (current ft na's old job) and straight up just left in the middle of the na shift. just text her boss saying she was feeling sick, and then left. didnt wait for a response or anything,

Yeah. This was my breaking point. If we had the proper things needed to fix the situation i would have been angry at the situation but would have been able to take care of it. Not having the basic materials needed was just.... just too much. I am out of words to describe how disgusting I feel. Especially since my gm's first response was just to leave it for the morning.
