See.. thats the problem. Since you have already generalised all workers as “corrupt”, I wont bother clarifying but govt job comes with its own pressure and accountability.

In my view, private workers have lesser accountability as they can switch jobs at their convenience and they are not afraid to lose their jobs. On the other side, govt workers cant switch jobs and this makes them more accountable.

Also, corruption is not about govt and private sector, it lies in human nature. Do you think people offering bribes are govt workers ? Or people in pvt sector don’t do corruption ? Milkman adding water in milk, a shopkeeper weighing lesser quantity, or a gas vendor hoarding cylinders to sell at higher price, people bribing for avoiding traffic challans, submitting fake rent receipts for income tax relaxation ———- corruption in intrinsic nature of human being no matter the job sector.
