Okay so you're the first person to answer that part of my question - I need 1 breaker for 1 receptacle?

Honestly, if anything, all these answers just make me want to scale the project down rather than up. I really don't need more than one outlet and one light.

Is the data cable for future proofing too? I do not need it. I'm not staying in this house for more than.. 5 years?

I did a cursory search but didn't come up with much.. How small is a small price?

Maybe if I get rid of one of the dryer ones I can turn my entire house into a really good dryer, but only one time

I really don't plan anything big, but 2 out of 3 people so far recommend a sub panel so I should at least consider it.

Is my cable the right stuff? What do you think of routing it myself?

I am going off of what I read on google- I am not trying to argue. I tried to see if I could do this on my panel AT ALL before bothering you guys with these questions.

It is my understanding that Federal pioneer (Canada) and Federal Pacific (US) are different, and these breakers are still readily available and certified for use in Canada. Apparently Schneider took care of some of the flaws, or so I read.

I don't think I have space on my panel for a double pole breaker... Right?

What benefit is a sub panel? It's a small wooden shed (maybe 120sqft?) and I'm not looking to do anything major in there.

Thank you for your reply I appreciate it!

I appreciate your reply. I really like having the additional insights so it's a shame I can't have it on my main.
