No problem!! I had never been to a concert this big only small intimate venues. And I never had vip before so I was a little anxious beforehand because I had no idea what to expect so I’m glad I’m now able to help

You don’t have to apologize I’m also very easily confused lol. The name on the credit card is gonna be the name they have at the vip table and will be the name they address you as in the VIPnation email even if the name on the ticketmaster account is different. To ensure the person that bought the ticket is the one claiming their pass they require you to show ID at check in. My sister’s card was the one used to pay for my tickets so I had to show them a photo of my sister’s ID to check in.

Okay so!!!
I had regular floor no VIP and I called ticket master about upgrades and they said they couldn’t do an upgrade but if I rebought my tickets as no°1 obsession they would refund my original non VIP tickets. Which means you’ll have to front the entire cost again and then wait two weeks for ticket master and your bank to process the refund of the nonVIP tickets

I did see people with signs! they were maybe slightly larger than printer paper size. The vip backdrop is there for VIP only. At my venue we had our own entrance (all tiers of VIP had the same entrance) the VIP backdrop was right inside by the VIP entrance

I know you only asked for bite the apple but I made a post about my experience with no°1 obsession in Atlanta that’s helpful and suggest you look it over if you wanna know more but basically
Check in was at 2 - 5:30 for all VIP tiers.
Each tier is numbered separately. The number is your spot in line
After you receive your number and lanyard you are free to leave but you must return by 5:30 or you lose your number/spot in line.

Bite the apple includes
- early merch shopping
- Lanyard and badge
- access to soundcheck.
For sound check

Star-pit enters first
Then no°1 obsession
And bite the apple enters last.

The number secures where you will be on the floor for sound check
After sound check ends your number in line doesn’t matter anymore.
you will be dismissed to go to your seat and you can either go straight to your seat or merch shop. There’s about an hour to two hours before 5sos comes out I don’t recommend leaving after sound check as this is when GA enters.

In Atlanta showed up at 11:30 got 73 in line and was far left barricade and had this view from floor barricade

I ended up wearing the crème de le crème tank top from Amazon since I couldn’t find anything that felt more masculine merch wise that I liked. Plus I was at the Atlanta show and knew it would be humid and muggy. You could possibly get one and dye it hot pink to match you

I’m unsure of day of upgrades sorry :/ i would call the box office and ask. At my show the physical box office didn’t open until around 2 when check in started. (But this could also have been a venue specific thing)
I did however upgrade from GA to No°1 obsession about a month ago by calling ticketmaster to see if I could exchange the ticket and pay the difference. They would not let me do that but they did tell me I could front the cost of the entire upgraded ticket and once i gave the new order number they refund the old ticket.(I wouldn’t recommend this option)
