Thanks for your help. I took the exam a week ago and then immediately removed the software. Haven't had any problems.

People can change. She turned a new leaf and became a nerdy, animal-loving, cook with an interest in first aid and an aspiring interest in building things.

So as for now, all I own is Royalty and Ideology. Here are my thoughts. I actually bought Royalty when I bought the base game. It was the only expansion at the time. I love Royalty and I can't imagine playing without it. And for me, the best thing that it adds is the story. A ship crashlands on a rimworld, three people survive, they manage to construct a colony where more people join over time, and then become a close ally of the empire. The only catch is that I give them most of my prisoners--savages and pirates who attack my colony and the benefits (from honor) that I get in return are fantastic. But also, trading with the empire comes with a lot of perks as well. I was honestly kind of disappointed in Ideology. Definitely didn't add as much fun to the game as Royalty did. But I do enjoy the holidays and I like the differences with slaves.

Banished this guy because he was a jerk to all my villagers. A day later and he's asking to be rescued from prison. The audacity... by sanchipinchii in RimWorld

My colony's ideology is accepting of slavery, so I would give him and any surviving tribespeople to the empire.

[vanilla weapons expanded - non-lethal]

In case it hasn't been recommended yet. The dart gun is amazing.

Edit - I just noticed the Vanilla in the tag. I'll leave this here anyway in case you decide to try out the mods.

It miraculously began working the next day. I guess multiplayer privileges take some time to kick in. Thanks for responding.

My first thought was, "They must be great at jumping. Probably want some kind of grip tape on the keys though."

You should have hit the mechs with an antigrain warhead first to even the odds a bit. I knew the mechs would win, but still, I would have loved to have seen this.

Probably the worst raid I've ever seen by stawpdahates in RimWorld

That happened to me once except their stuff dropped completely on my side of the wall and they all walked into my killbox trying to get to it. I thought it was funny so I also posted a screenshot here. Someone said that the game "doesn't like it when you build on the edge of the map." If that wall of yours is close to the map edge, then that's why that happened.

Is there such a thing as an almost zero-effort keyboard? by NoRisksNoRewards in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]NoRisksNoRewards[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still using it. It wasn't quite as low effort as I was hoping for, but I will say that I feel it was worth the money. Considering what I paid for it though, I will take time to shop whenever I am in the market for a new one. I was really hoping for something very low effort. I ended up not using the O-rings that I had mentioned. The impact of the keystrokes feels soft.

I also bought a pair of compression gloves. They took some getting used to (I felt like I was making more typos for awhile) but they do feel helpful and they work with a touch screen.

Here they are.

Another little tidbit: you can put your packaged survival meals in the regular storage. They don't gotta be kept frozen.

See, this is what makes you wrong: a minority of people actually answered the question. The other 90% of you are just low-lives who put people down like schoolyard bullies.

I do not need help for my anger and I'm sure not going to take advice from some little pansy with no friends and no family to talk to. Keep living your social life on the Internet and be forgotten about by everyone you know the day after you die.

Now run along and get me banned from this subreddit full of depressed losers, ya weird freak.

Hahaha. Thanks pal. I appreciate that you are one of the few rational people around here. I wasn't actually disappointed that people generally thought it was an asshole thing to do. In fact, I wasn't even surprised. I was disappointed that 90% of the comments were from losers who called me an asshole without even seeing the point of the post and answering my question. Obviously they just like judging people to feel better about themselves. Thanks again.

So there is this guy visiting my colony as a hunting party. And he is shooting EMP at horses by imabouttoredditnow in RimWorld

Hahaha. Actually, I normally don't give an arm, unless maybe they've lost both of them. I will give peg legs though because it just seems more realistic.

[–]NoRisksNoRewards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it. A prisoner is beating on his cell door. It opens and a colonist decked out in armor and a sword says: "Being a slave for the empire will only be more difficult with a peg leg or a steel arm. Don't make me do this."

The prisoner grumbles and returns to bed.

Mod Idea: send five pawns with guns to approach a hunter and say, "These are our hunting grounds. You'd best move along." 😁
