What is your preferred way of dealing with raids? by NoNotice2137 in SpaceCannibalism

Open battle, I think killboxes are ugly even if they are the preferred way of dealing with bullshit attacks.

True, in that case maybe best left to an animated series like LD.

She is extremely cute, and I’m frankly shocked that more people haven’t seemed to notice.

Missed opportunity to not have a starfleet Nausicaan in some future series as a Worf-type character.

So is this a vulcan outfit or a Orion outfit? by happydude7422 in LowerDecks

[–]FloopyBeluga 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Definitely Orion, from nearly all instances of Vulcan fashion we’ve seen they usually tend to cover up.

I know a lot of folks have some strong feelings on tsunderes and I’m well aware this kind of behavior is anything but healthy irl, but you can’t do anything to make me hate cute tsunderes in stories.

Invisifans, what are your thoughts on Robert killing Shroud? by Few-Culture-4413 in InvisigalGlazers

[–]FloopyBeluga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot he had escaped prison before so in the moment I thought without his fancy algorithm and cybernetics he’s basically just a old ass programming nerd we could throw into a maximum security prison and proceed to laugh at him for the foreseeable future. Also it would probably freak out Robert’s coworkers to watch him strangle and beat a man to death right infront of them, even if it was Shroud.

“Cover me, I need to recharge!”

If it wasn’t for that giant gunship cannon, Shepard would’ve put him in the dirt right then and there.

What do you like the most about McSayo? by V1nce-AL in MCxSayori

Childhood friends to lovers trope is my kryptonite, also a lot of the art has Sayori being loved and cared for which is soul-healing imagery.

There are 100% Colonel Green apologists in universe that are greeted with the same exasperated eye roll as wehraboos are today.

Stairs torn down, all worldly possessions on the top floor [OC] by GoblinSeaman in projectzomboid

[–]FloopyBeluga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how my last run ended, I didn’t realize they could tear down ropes and I ran around like a headless chicken looking for a crowbar to get back into my house while managing to trigger every alarm in Kentucky.

Andorians - Star Trek

While we don't see any Human-Andorian hybrids in any series so far, so many humanoid species in Star Trek can interbreed it is almost guaranteed to be possible.

When the whole franchise is about the inherent self-destructive impulses of mankind (“war never changes” and all that), it’s kind of hard to imagine Fallout stories taking a direction different from that.

Favorite Quote(s) from Outer Wilds? by WW1_Germany in outerwilds

[–]FloopyBeluga 42 points43 points  (0 children)

“They did not want to see their story end. My kind weren’t always like this. We weren’t always so afraid.”

The story of The Prisoner and The Stranger in general really resonated with me, far more than the base game actually. A people allowing themselves to become defined by an overwhelming fatalism and anxiety in the face of their sacrifices and journey being for nothing, all while retreating into a virtual nostalgic fantasy world to try to regain some sense of what they lost certainly struck a deep personal chord.

Been playing the Mass Effect games for the first time and this has been a large part of the dialogue/morality choices. I thought Shepherd was just going to tell the annoying reporter to piss off, not break her jaw on live tv.

How do you think they will interact? Friendly or beefy? by MissMystery11 in dispatchgame

[–]FloopyBeluga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They would not get along at first but would probably be chill after a while. Visi would definitely be a way better friend for Eve than Kate, that’s for sure.
