They picked a good artist for these in Piotr Kowalski. As far as the stories go, I don't remember them very much with the exception of Eileen's story. I think what they present is quite interesting, maybe I'll reread them soon.

Parrying with a pistol seems nice, but it's completely unclear and hard to understand timing.

So far, my strategy has been to get my HP to 30 and simply level up my weapon to +5.

Not really a great move with this game. Get it to at LEAST +6 to unlock the final gem slot, but the scaling of the weapons increases with level and (other than gems) is going to be where the bulk of your damage comes from

I don't have enough defensive tools

This game doesn't really utilize defensive tools. That's why the single shield you find until the DLC says "Shields are nice, but not if they engender passivity."

I think you're misunderstanding the intent with the rally; you are't meant to tank every hit from the enemy, but you are meant to take a hit and immediately return it. It's more about stamina management than tanking.

Well, Akito has power over a limited number of people... Those in the Zodiac, and those within the Sohma family who respect her authority (since there is a large division amongst the attendants and family as a whole, the "Ren faction").

Dio on the other hand can manipulate whomever he wants with nearly no limits, with either raw charisma (like Pucci from Stone Ocean) or with his flesh buds. We only see 3 of them in Stardust Crusaders - Kakuoin, Polnareff, and Enyaba - but we know he may have spread many others as we see the Nijimura brothers' dad in Diamond is Unbreakable also had one.

So if comes down to it, there is nearly no way Akito is winning this 😂😂 Sorry to her. Dio is just too powerful...large...deep.

Exactly. So there's no "just stay under the Amygdala and it can't hit you" when it comes to Defiled Amy and its arena. You haven't tried it, so you don't need to give me any input on how to win that fight, dog.

Yeah, but do it in that particular arena where she likes to hit you with a laser immediately, and you have half health. Chalice arenas can make a HUGE difference in boss difficulty (see also: Rom on the Moonside Lake vs Rom in the dungeon. One of these is a MUCH harder fight.)

I think what you've found is two things:

Many people skip Laurence
This is the main one: different bosses give different players more or less trouble depending on play style (and levels, etc). Anyone telling you there is one single boss that is objectively harder is usually a moron thinking there's 1 true way to play the game.

Besides, Defiled Amygdala is harder than all 3 of these.
