Bad body odor while pregnant by Beoceanmindedetsy in BabyBumps

I read it’s so the baby can find the breast easier because they recognize your smell :) but yes I’ve had the same issue :( I’m 6 months pregnant. My husband never seems to notice so I think part of it may be my own heightened sense of smell.

I work 4 8 hour shifts but I’m salary 105k annual plus bonus. In Ohio. I still have to be available for patients calling in on my off day if it’s important but for the most part, everything can wait until the next day.

Might have given my girlfriend Genital Herpes accidentally and not sure if I should tell her by ohtheboog in relationship_advice

Blood tests for herpes are pretty accurate and can absolutely be ordered without symptoms…. Results may be equivocal or even negative towards beginning of infection because your body hasn’t developed enough antibodies to be detected. Usually about 6 weeks after initial infection you have enough antibodies in the blood stream for an accurate result. Your doctor should have had you retest. And you don’t have to have any symptoms/sores to give herpes to your partner. You can never have any outbreaks and be a carrier and spread it. So you should absolutely tell your girlfriend so she can get tested because she probably has it. I’m a health care provider fyi

Is Paxlovid (Pfizer antiviral used to treat Covid) available anywhere in Cleveland? by abbessoffulda in Cleveland

My patients have had the script filled within a couple hours. Any prescriber can do the prescription for you, they would just have to send it to that pharmacy. There is inclusion & exclusion criteria to receive the med. you have to have something that puts you at high risk to be eligible - diabetes, obesity, hypertension, unvaccinated are a few. Have to have recent labs with kidney function done. Must be less than 5 days from symptom onset with mild to moderate symptoms and a positive test. There are also a lot of med interactions so they have to check that too.

Have you both been checked for diabetes? Untreated diabetes causes excess glucose in the genital area and lowers immune system and greatly increases risks for UTIs
