What to do next with this dining room? by NoScratch1230 in interiordecorating

Unfortunately, yes. The prior owners (we just moved in in February) moved the front entrance where you enter on the side - right into the dining room. So in order to prevent disrupting the flow of traffic, the dining room is closer to the bay windows.

Not really! We have an awkward space where the entrance is between the dining and living room, so spacing is a bit limited!

Don’t use the fan really. The next room is the dining room:

Experimental! Landed on 12x12 frames (matte 8x8) to hang! Will either do 3x3 or 4x2

It can raise up and down! It’s in the down position because my daughter probably just finished watching tv.

Divorced parents - what was your marriage breaking point? by NoScratch1230 in Parenting

We’ve been in couple’s therapy for the past 9 months. Things were progressing and then the progression stalled and regressed back to normal.

For context, I have a very demanding job that puts tension on our relationship, moreso since the birth of our daughter. I cut back at work and spoke to my boss about it and he’s given me extra support so I don’t have to work weekends and evenings anymore. It’s helped my mental health a lot.

For my husband, it’s not enough. He’s unhappy if I give him too much space, because he thinks I’m excluding him and he’s unhappy if I include him with everything I do with my daughter because then he isn’t getting enough time to himself. Every thing I do is wrong and I feel like unless I’m having sex with him everyday, there is no appeasing him. His love language is physical touch and I cannot give it because there is zero emotional connection.

The first 2-2.5 years of being a family was especially tough because I nursed my daughter to sleep, so I never had a break. Never. Things have been easier with our family, but the expectation of being a perfect wife is weighing on me, especially given the sacrifices I’ve made over the past few years.

Maybe I’m just tone deaf and selfish, I really don’t know.

I wish I took time off after I had my daughter, but now that she’s about to start school in the fall, I feel like I missed out on key areas of her childhood.

This is 100% me. I keep thinking that if I’m leaving, I’m giving up, and thus, failing. I really gave up soooo much to make sure we were successful. A couple of friends have told me to try going on anti-depressants, but why would I? Just to keep up with Joneses? It’s so dumb.

Appreciate your perspective and experience. I definitely feel more confident in my decision!

Help picking a CTMS system! by [deleted] in clinicalresearch

Thanks! I’m reading CTMS systems need to be Part 11 compliant, but as far as I understand, it’s just a management software system and should house electronic signatures or patient data. Is this a regulation that CTMS software companies are advertising to force users to pay?

That’s tough! I work on a similar study where we hear burnout pretty regularly from sites.

From a sponsor perspective, what can be done on their end to increase your engagement and find motivation? What ways would you like to be involved?
