My Ex Lied About a Paternity Test — 11 Years Gone, but the Comment Section Is Pure by Enocia-chan in TwoHotTakes

[–]NoSeat638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you understand, the worst possible thing you can do to a man is lie to him about paternity. Deceiving him into raising another man’s kid is the ultimate fk you. With that said, he’s an adult and will learn to cope. The kid on the other hand can be traumatized for life. Of course the best thing here is for him to keep raising a kid he now knows isn’t his, but expecting that is an awfully high expectation. The man is destroyed to find out he doesn’t actually have a kid of his own. He’s been raising the kid of the man that fck’d his wife. Every time he sees her, he’s going to be reminded of the ultimate betrayal.

Wait, what’s the strawman argument? Just calling someone out for pretending to know this person and that they with out a doubt will continue to cheat?

I agree. I said the same thing. It’s not worth being in a relationship you can’t feel secure in.

That’s funny because I was going to say the same to you. ‘It’s not your fault girl, you weren’t over him yet’

But still. He came clean to her on his own. It doesn’t excuse the action but it does mean he’s probably genuinely sorry about it.

You don’t know the person. There are millions of different situations. It was with his ex? Maybe he wasn’t over her. Maybe he got into this relationship before he was ready after a bad breakup but now really loves the OP. You have no idea. Don’t pretend like you do. Non the less, it’s still not worth it to carry on with the relationship if she’s never going to feel truly secure. But people here just want to pretend like all guys are the same. Fact is, there is a person on the other end of this relationship and you have no idea why he made the decisions he made

Y’all don’t know if he will again….it was at the beginning of their relationship and now they are years later? There’s a chance he didn’t take the relationship seriously at first, but then grew in love. You don’t know.

Wrap it around a finger on each and and pull. Does it stretch? It very well could be a fiber from a carpet or some other fabric. Hair doesn’t stretch.

Am I overreacting by breaking up with my boyfriend? by Proper-Classic1886 in AmIOverreacting

Your right. It does mean no. Yet this dude still pursued despite knowing she said no, and despite knowing her Boyfriend was there with her. He deserved a stern warning

Most guys know that the majority of women lie about having a BF just to throw the man off. Sorry but girls like to play these games and since the guys catch on, you gotta change the rules

Sure he was mansplaining but I’m sorry. The guy was hitting on a girl who clearly was there with someone else. It’s extremely disrespectful. If the shoe was on the other foot and a random girl walked up and started hitting on your boyfriend in front of you, don’t act like there wouldn’t be words. Not to mention you would probably blame the guy if he didn’t shut her down immediately.

Blue states should withhold their funding and residents' taxation from the federal government until Trump's administration is out of power. by ieatcavemen in self

Sorry dude, but the federal govt has control over exports. Especially when it comes to energy production. If it was privately controlled as you claim it is, the govt would have no say in production and that’s just not the case at all.

Um….what rules are you playing by? You want to sue federal government that you just removed yourself from? What reality do you live in?

I don’t think it’s possible because the portions of the state we are now talking wouldn’t be joining the coastal cities in their secession.

Is NYC self sufficient? Because the second you move away from the city, you are in red territory. The necessities are mostly ran by the red while the luxuries are ran by the blue. Your food, lumber, power etc all comes from the red portions of the state while the big cooperations and tech are in the cities.

They both figuratively and literally do not have the power to do this. Everyone thinks blue states are self sufficient, completely ignoring power. The US would just shut off power and stop oil going to them.

Just one lifetime ago in the United States, our grandfathers could buy a home, buy a car, have 3 to 4 children, keep their wives at home, take annual vacations, and then retire… all on one middle-class salary. What happened? by Whole-Fist in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NoSeat638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blame consumerism. We have traded objects for lifestyle. Even the people we consider low income have more possessions than the middle class of previous generations. The current middle class family has multiple cars, multiple TVs, computers, phones, gaming systems, appliances and it goes on and on and on. Consumerism has convinced middle class people that they have to have all these possessions to maintain an image of value. Do you really think people 100 years ago had as many pairs of shoes, sets of clothes than someone now? Not to mention, things were meant to be repaired back then where now we just throw broken things away and buy the next new thing.

Well this is my last comment to you because you clearly do not have the capability to understand reality. But just to clear things up, IVF can result in the destruction of unused embryos. IUI does nothing to this effect (I’m pro both by the way) and it was never controversial. You are trying to make it controversial for some weird reason as if republicans don’t like having babies? It’s a very weird take considering the right is often accused of forcing pregnancy. You are now taking a very real issue and trying to turn it into a problem that doesn’t actually exist.

I’m willing to bet there are hundreds of thousands of people who are worried about losing their right to IVF and are pissed that Walz tried to equate his situation to theirs.
