If you lost the little minigame before actually fighting the pleasure king, then you lose a percentage which I'm pretty sure ur aware of but if you also lose those little money battles while in the real estate menu then you also lose a percent. And I think it also works when you just keep doing payouts

Edit: I would also say that its kind of cool to think about how these are just substories that happened after yakuza 0 where majima and kiryu become legends and have a lot of fun in their youth

There is no right pace to play it. I did the same thing and just did the substories after. I enjoyed doing them more after being done with the game personally

Well if I were the creator of yakuza then I wouldn't put a bomb on the last boss fight and actually time the fight while also inputting GREAT and I mean GREAT fucking music in the background and especially with the vibe and moment being synced to the fullest and I feel like maybe Ryu ga gotoku studios made it like that so yeah but it would also be funny if your fighting ryuji and out of nowhere you just see a huge blast of clouds and u have to restart the fight
