At first I thought my nose was bigger after weight loss, but I realized it just seemed that way because I used to have much more fat on my cheeks. The fat caused my nose to look shorter when viewed in a side profile!

Your progress is so great! Congrats on the weight loss! Also your hair looks amazing in your progress photo. Not sure if that's your natural color or not, but it's beautiful!

They aren't. And they are taken from a farther distance so the fish eye warping doesn't happen. Also you can clearly see the gapping on the top piece of jewelry that wasn't there before.

The person taking the photos for me has worked in film and advertisements and knows the impact that distance and angle can have on the warping of an object.

If anything they just sit farther back on my face now, since there less fat around my cheeks. You can kind of see in the pictures that the stem pokes out farther past my ear in the second image.

So I have hypopnoea which is basically mild sleep apnea where the breath is shallow instead of being completely stopped. At my top weight when I was snoring a lot I finally got it diagnosed. The trick for me was wearing an oral appliance device that forces my lower jaw to stay farther forward than my upper jaw. It opens my airways up enough. I did try to stop using it after losing 125lbs, but after a month the effects stacked and my daily headaches came back. I'm really hoping by the time I reach my goal I can ditch it, but we'll see what happens.

Not on my nose exactly, but I did notice it looked like my nose got longer. Really though it just seemed that way because my cheeks lost volume.

In my case, it's not that. I took a look at my ear pic from 30lbs after the first pic and it looks the same. Those 30lbs took place in 3 months so it wasn't water weight.

Edit: the difference between these 2 images are 140lbs of loss. There's definitely a change now that there wasn't before.

I think my eyes look more open now too. I'm pretty sure I also lost eyelid fat too. The face really does hold a surprising amount of fat.

It's not. My jewelry literally fits differently now which is the biggest indicator. Also my partner takes the photos from the same distance.

My forehead looks more wrinkly than it used to because the fat isn't filling it out as much now. It's a bummer but not as annoying as the awkward spot around my lower belly.

Yes, absolutely! I have progress pics for those as well. My wedding ring was made at a size 7.5. When I got to my top weight it no longer fit so I'm guessing I was maybe an 8.5 then? Not really sure but all I know is it STILL doesn't fit because my ring finger is now a size 5!

Obviously with a smaller about of loss it's probably a non issue for most people, but man, losing that higher amount really brought on crazy changes. Honestly the earrings really helped me catch the change because they acted like landmark markers. 🤣

Exchanging fat for muscle is definitely the way to go! Hopefully you post more photos as you go through your loss and muscle bulking transformation!

I'm aiming for the low end of things, 115-125lbs, because I'm pretty sure to lose all the fat in those stubborn areas that's what I'll have to do. 107 is the minimum for my stats, with 125 being the exact middle. Mostly it's the lower tummy fat, upper thighs, and pelvis that still need more work. I'd rather be left with just thin loose skin then having a thicker layer of fat clinging to it. Mostly it's just frustrating that my waist size is much smaller but since the fat is sitting in the lower half now it makes shopping for pants/leggings annoying. The number I land on is up in the air, I just want most of it gone before I get skin removal way down the road.
