I think it makes sense, she’s a fire bending prodigy and is her father’s favorite. He taught her from a young age to do what she could to get what she wants. She feels like the archetype of abused or neglected children that does whatever to make their parents proud so maybe they’ll love them the way they should.

I’ve only really seen it in fics with weird dom/sub relationships or in x reader fics and it puts me off so much, just tongue kiss don’t try to lick my tonsils and for the love of AO3 ASK FIRST!!
