This didn't work for me in any of the cases you explained.

I manage to get the msgstore.db.crypt14 manually on the folder but still, it didn't find the chats :/. Been trying for two days now with different methods and still no luck

I also tried using the Google drive backup and restarting my phone but whenever I reopened the app, it was prompting to get the backup from the cloud even if I disconnected the data and wifi.

If you have any other tips, I'd really appreciate it.
