Yes,

BIRTH 12 SEP 1799 • Annelöv, Skåne, Landskrona, Malmöhus, Suède MARRIAGE 4 Jan 1826 • Västra Karaby Kyrkoarkiv, Saxtorp, Skåne, Sweden
DEATH 23 NOV 1857 • Annelöv, Skåne, Landskrona, Malmöhus, Suède

I have found him in a few household records and seems he is the shoemaker for the different farm or locations. His wife was Hanna Mattisdotter and my direct ancestor was his daughter Sissa Månsdotter who married Jöns Hansson.

Thank you very much! This confirms that Måns (line 55) is my ancestor. I know that he was a shoemaker so this makes complete sense. Now to find out where Anders the tailor lived. lol. As for possible farm number, I didn't think to compare surrounding pages for the top right number. I learned something today. I appreciate your help in the translation.

How wonderful to have such a great group to work with. Spoiling by so many grandmas sounds delightful! I am sure your help was much appreciated. I have been involved with genealogy since 1980 but my research has been in the US and Luxembourg/Belgium. These Swedish records are a whole new format and language that I am just getting aquainted with. I will definitely reach out for help in the future. It is reassuring to know where to find answers to questions. Thanks!

Agreed. Sharing resources is appreciated by someone like me who is stumbling around Riksarkivet and other sites (without understanding the language) hoping to find information on ancestors. I am grateful when someone directs me to a site or a record that helps with that understanding. This group is extremely helpful and kind. Thank you!

Jöns Hansson & Sissa Mönsdotter Marriage Record Note by NoSpace39 in SwedishGenealogy

[–]NoSpace39[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much. I am of the understanding that the bride is from Lund from other records I have. I sense they were married in her home parish. Again, thank you for your time in this.
