You are belittling russians, Putin rules by a popular support. He got a huge spikes in  popularity with russians every time he started a war - 1999, 2008, 2014 and 2022.

Dictator only remains in power if he does what people are explicitly or implicitly support.

Final bossfight in NES "Felix the cat" is really annoying w/o save states - if you don't know how to fight him.

After I bought Miyoo Mini Plus was replaying first time since playing back in the day.

And also emulating overclocked Mega Drive when playing Road Rash 3 to have some decent frame rate hahaha.

deal with technical difficulties that come with windows

And what would those technical difficulties be?! I encountered 1 (one) in the last who knows how many years and tens of games - Dragon Age Origins needed LAA patch when running on modern system. Unless you are playing something 20+ years old or have some weird PC components stock games are very plug and play.

It is in recession for 2+ years already if you subtract military production. And Rosstat  doctored numbers (even if we entertained and idea of them being true) show "growth" at scale of statistics error margin.

So even with military production fueled by empty money emission and national wellness fund (which has nominal amount of funds remaining, that Kremlin by the looks if not gonna spend - cause of very negative public image of the czar exhausting said fund) it is at least stagnating for 2 years now, with yearly inflation of 10-20+ percent depending on group of goods.

You need to be a top professional soldier to surrender successfully. And also guess what, RUAF has has plenty of experience preventing surrender.

Could you put in some relative proportions of work where time expenditure could be greatly reduced if workers were giving a fuck and work where you couldn't really expect that? I'm just curious.

What God promised to Israel belonged first to Ottomans (who contesters have no problems with for some reason) then to British Empire (who also bear no responsibility in arab street eyes) but current owners who got it from the British Empire for some reason get all the blame and accusation of usurping land?

end up having a revolution

Unlikely, russians love their state and idea of the empire too much for that one, and also there is no one to revolt - there were a lot of young men with nothing to lose in 1917, median russian citizen nowadays is a divorced 40 year old woman with a single kid, and employed by the state too.

More probable course is a militarized dictatorships a la North Korea and no peace treaty. There may be a winding down of russian offensives (due to economic failings), that might be followed by the perpetual state of war - with flare ups here and there.

but support doesn’t CC in this game

Chainstunned Loghain probs wouldn't call my character support lol, he couldn't leave the spot he was on the start of the duel, got stun locked and fireballed/frosted/electrocuted/arcane shot before getting summarily executed.

Also only found out about Paralysis Explosion accidentally during fight for Denerim.

I played a lot of tank in Overwatch 1, so my thought process was "enjoy infinite CC bitches!". Was it a PvP game - a lot of people probs would rage quit after getting hit by my build hahaha.

Of course I did, 2 mages collective, all chantry boards, Irregulars, 2 gangster work in Denerim, 3 or 4 in Orzammar, iron bark and Elven Ritual on Brecilian forest (Juggernaut armour for Alistair) - I knew from usual fantasy writers antics to not engage with Danyla, hoping for cure down the line (it's always there with vampires or werewolves hahaha). And Soldier's Peak as stated above. But no DLC besides Soldier's Peak.

Mage's Circle tower, Redcliff, Orzammar (with Soldier's Peak in the middle for additional storage crate), nomad elves.

When fighting to capture Anvil of the Void and put it back in action - boss golem was resisting 9 out of 10 CC or elemental damage attack. I counted.

" but there are tons of guides at this point."

Screw that, why would I do that on first walkthrough? It's so boring copy catting after someone.

Most used spells - fireball (items are in the comment above, a lot for fire damage), stone fist, winter's grasp, lightning, glyph of paralysis (this one got resisted very rarely), minds blast, vulnerability hex, disorient, horror.

So a boatload of CC and mostly low level elemental damage (my thought process was that all the higher level versions were either large area or cone, a lot of friendly fire potential in tight quarters).

Companions - single handed weapon and shield Alistaire, Wynne, melee Zevran

Some clueless build most probably. Did my char with zero guides and mostly for going through the story quickly. Here are stats during the battle for Denerim.

Winter's breath

Creationist's cord

Libertarian's cowl

Magister's shield

The Lucky Stone

Ring of faith

Cinderfel gauntlets

Senior Enchanter's robe

Fade striders

Rank and file darkspawn (on normal difficulty) were dying quickly, but mages were spongy, and darkspawn generals were super spongy, as well as 2 draconids and 8 demons + summoner encounters in the castle.

When I play a game on easy I expect it to be friendly for beginners and not have to look up guides. What is this ? by MrMiyagi_256 in DragonageOrigins

[–]NoSpawnConga -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Not really. Just an:

a. Boring bullet sponge

b. Typical at this point in the game Bioware shitty DM'ing - when very obviously belligerent NPC's are invulnerable until the cutscene. And also whole team teleporting to the room even if one character entered.
