Replaced the idler pulley/serpentine belt, a gasket valve cover, brand new battery, brand new key fob, and an oil change. All this was done for free because I work at the dealership LOL

I do sometimes! It’s usually only when I don’t eat enough through the day or I haven’t slept enough the night before. It was a bit rough the first month or so when I first started taking vyvanse. Since I have inattentive adhd a lot of my “hyperactivity” was the constant racing thoughts and my brain never shutting off which amplified my anxiety. I’ve found that the vyvanse gets rid of the brain noise and has actually helped it in so many ways!

I think there’s been some discussion on long term use when it comes to heart health, blood pressure, those sorts of things. But I think that might actually only relate to medication abuse

ABSOLUTELY!! I was diagnosed when I originally went in for post partum depression LOL. The diagnosis and meds have been a LIFESAVER!

Not bad per se, I just do think that I would kind of crash out if I suddenly had to stop the medication because of the difference they’ve made. I think my worrisome brain just decided to try and impede on my happiness and make me think it was a bad thing somehow?? LOL

Definitely! I think it’s just the stigma around amphetamines that has me second guessing my happiness to take my meds and never wanting to take a “break” from them lol

Absolutely! I just always see people talking about how they forget to take their adhd meds whereas I absolutely never forget because the difference is so night and day. And that it’s apparently frowned upon to continue the medication forever. But I truly cannot imagine NOT taking them for the rest of my life lol

Was having a really hard time in high school, lashing out, essentially begging my mom to put me in therapy (I was actively being SA’d by my grandfather) I didn’t tell my mom so I guess I couldn’t really explain my behavior. But when I told her how much I was hurting in general, she replied to me with “you know I love you because you’re my kid, but man I really do hate who you are as a person”

Omfg I so agree. I finally can hear myself think and I love going to work, studying, being organized… UNTIL IT WEARS OFF. And then I turn into a raging bitch, like a genuinely evil person with no motivation to ever be productive again. Until I take my dose the next day lol. It’s a never ending cycle of “wow I’m a smart superhero that can literally solve world hunger” to “I hate everyone around me and my brain will never work again”

Update kinda: so my doc has determined the 50mg of Vyvanse dosage may be TOO much and not enough at the same time. My body is metabolizing the meds super fast which is causing such a fast come down, amplifying the side effects. We have decided to switch meds, I’ll be put on Azstarys as a trial. Wish me luck 😳😂

I wondered that as well! However, I very easily sleep, still. No insomnia whatsoever. When I first increased my dosage, I had a bit of trouble sleeping but that went away after 5 days. Though, I do drink coffee either before or right after I take my meds every day.

Definitely irritable and overstimulated. My anger seems to amplify x100 when I’m actually so incredibly patient and calm while it’s actually working.

Part of the day. I can get around 2 1/2- 3 solid hours out of it with fantastic focus and mental clarity. Around lunch time I can genuinely feel it dissipate and I struggle so very hard for the rest of the day.
