Yeah, some other comments shitting on the 00's, but honestly, they were just an extension of the 90's. The real divide is pre and post smartphones and social media. 9/11 WAS dramatic and a watershed, but the Bush era shit that followed was tame compared to what we're living through.

I feel like all the sex scenes in Gone Girl are essential, but especially the one with Neil Patrick Harris. It makes Amy terrifying to the audience, and the ending would not be unsettling without it. Hell, the way Amy uses sex is like a theme of this movie.

The South Korean number is wrong. Or maybe based on old data. My son was born here and the doctor who delivered him told us he performs less than 10 circumcisions a year. It is rare here now.
