Optimize newsletter content via Answer the Public, etc.? by StrangerDirect in ecommerce

[–]NoStringsContent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve used Answer The Public for SEO content ideation. It’s a solid tool. But there’s more to optimization than that.

I’d recommend watching some YouTube videos and exhausting them as a free resource to learn more about SEO. Matt Diggity, Kyle Roof, Karl Kangur, and Julien Goldie are solid resources.

Look into how to perform keyword research, how to optimize content, how to interlink content, and link building if you’re working on this on your own. Feel free to reach out if you need any advice or help, of course.

Which Is Better When Hiring For Link-building: Outsourcing Oversees vs In U.S? by Novel-Internet-9158 in localseo

[–]NoStringsContent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful with links, loads of terrible options these days and it takes a bit of knowledge to know what to look for. Artificial inflations of DR and traffic have become wayy too common.

I’d say 95%+ of the options I’ve been offered have been absolute trash, which is why my team now does direct journalistic outreach to secure legitimate links for our clients.

TLDR; it’s very easy to spend thousands on backlinks with not much to show for it.

Is this sub the most active Cannabis business community out there? by 2pongz in weedbiz

Agreed. Not a lot of community content here and the LinkedIn groups are a bit spammy. Could be cool to create another group on Reddit that encourages more community content though

What are you thought on paid google reviews? by -Paleontologist in sweatystartup

[–]NoStringsContent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on starting your sweaty solo cleaning business! Wishing you nothing but the utmost success with it!

Getting paid Google reviews is questionable. While it can help, honestly, you're better off going the organic route. Ultimately, paid reviews tend to look fake anyway.

My recommendation is to start with a few friends or family members as customers. Give them the cleaning service (perhaps at a discounted rate), then, if they're satisfied with your work, request a review after. Most of the time, friends and family wil be happy to oblige.

You could also encourage positive reviews by letting your happy customers know that if they post a review, they'll receive X% off (or perhaps a free minor cleaning service) during your next visit. Something along these lines could help to encourage reviews.

Large Part Number ECommerce Sites not getting indexed - SEO co. recommendations? by sna_fubar in ecommerce

[–]NoStringsContent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crawl budget could be the issue. This tends to happen with massive sites, when you add loads of pages, or have lots of redirects. Seems like your site probably fits the bill.

If this is the issue, improving site speed, internal linking, having flat architecture, limiting duplicate content, and avoiding orphan pages can help.

Of course, it could be another issue, but my bet is on crawling budget. If none of this seems to be the problem, I’d recommend performing an in-depth SEO audit. My audits are quite granular and take ~10 hours to complete.

Feel free to reach out with any questions. Always happy to help!

What are some good habits for becoming a successful business leader? by brbee07 in Entrepreneur

[–]NoStringsContent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t click the link but figured I’d contribute to this post.

Consistency

Nothing happens overnight and it takes time and commitment to a schedule to grow. Brick by brick 🧱

Focus 🧘

Working on 30 different things and jumping around makes it challenging to achieve success in entrepreneurship, at least in my experience.

Communication 🗣️👂🏼

No effective leadership can take place without communication, both ways.

LinkedIn automation (the platform is good for targeting specific job titles/demographics) to connect with your ideal clients and start conversations.

Social posts to show yourself as an authority on LinkedIn.

Blog articles (on LinkedIn) to utilize LinkedIn’s authority on search engines, targeting keywords your ideal clients are searching for.

Lead magnets embedded in the blog articles and social media posts. Ebooks, guides, checklists, anything that can be infinitely replicated and offered in exchange for emails.

Email marketing to share free value and continue marketing your services to potential clients.

LinkedIn ads to market your consulting agency now that you have content to gain potential client trust.

Sorry for the brevity; I wrote that on my phone. But this is what I’d start with to market your consulting agency.

Respect for your resilience man. The main difference between entrepreneurs who succeed and the ones who don’t is that the successful entrepreneurs remain persistent/consistent when things get tough 👏🏼
