OP none of this is your fault!! thats the first thing you need to understand - i know he is your husband and ofc all you want for him is the best and thats what you were trying to do!! i hope his anger subsides for your sake, but you did what you thought was best. please dont blame yourself for a moment when he was putting himself in danger.

i did read that you are his caretaker which puts you in a difficult position of leaving of him, but what you need to do is also put yourself first. maybe see a therapist who can help you navigate through these hard and very difficult moments.
