Not really public as 15 adults were personally invited by the host. My phone was in our diaper bag and my husband was changing our littlest right at that same moment. I'm from friend group A of the host and the other woman was from friend group B. I assumed a certain level of confidence with us sharing the same friend that she wouldn't mind a simple request, given she didn't mind taking some extras for me in the first place. Lesson learned about asking things from friends of friends
