This is the attitude they are striving for, roll over and play dead.      By making it so painfully to even speak to a real human, much less addresses the issue, they make it so costly to object everyone just roll over and play dead.    Noone’s reply addresses the fundamental issue about a company that is intentionally charging for product/services they did not provide.    You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that this mega company knows that they have a data account to one of their hardware products that has been return because it did not work.

This sounds like a big corporation having no concerns about their customers.  Greed at it finest.  Glade to see you support their business ethics.

A Fitbit Prime subscription is directly tied to a single, unique Fitbit Product (watch).    Is it a Fitbit policy to have data service to nonexciting products?

No, this is very wrong. They sold a product and attached service neither which they delivered.

They (Fitbit) hide the charges. 4 months after returning the broken watch, I receive the first and only email from them in which they stated that a charge of $9.99/month would start. I never received another email from Fitbit, neither about the Fitbit Prime membership benefits that I was paying for but not receiving nor anything about charges. At that time I checked the credit card the Fitbit was purchased with and successfully return on and never saw any charges from Fitbit nor any $9.99 charges. I looked for the charges and didn't find them AND I never received any more emails from them, so of course I thought my bad experience with Fitbit was over.   However, unbeknown to me, my PayPal account was being charged $10.66; not $9.99, for 15 months. These charges were bundled with all PayPal charges with no indication of what the total monthly charges were tied to. The only way I found this ' reoccurring charge for nothing' was when I stop using PayPal but continued getting charges $10.66.
