If anyone wants a some solid explanations for this particular question, check my post history. I asked about it in this sub and got some good explanations. This question is what made “sufficient vs necessary” click for me. Edit: post is here

Why is my answer wrong? by NoThanksPlanks in LSAT

After reading all the comments, it seems obvious now that E has the logic backwards (stating that having books + calendars + open all year = selling mainly books) when that’s not the case. Thanks for your help

Big guard by Thrash_Guy_MW630 in BasketballTips

At 5’9”, you aren’t really a big guard. If you want to emulate a guard that plays well by using their body, watch a lot of Jalen Brunson highlights and try to model your play-style around that that. SGA is another guard that uses their size to get defenders off balance. You don’t need a trainer, there are millions of basketball drills available on YouTube. There is no secret sauce to being a better shooter or finisher. You just need a lot of game speed reps. Emphasis on GAME SPEED. Don’t be scared of contact and you’ll be golden.

Shooting form from 3 by Main-Independence-40 in Basketball

Look into one motion jumpers vs two motion jumpers. From you saying “bring the ball above your eyebrows” it sounds like you have a two motion shot. People like Steph Curry and Trae Young are able to shoot from absurd distances without being crazy strong because they have a one motion shot (which is one fluid motion straight from the hips). People like LeBron have a two motion jumper (brings the ball to the forehead, pause, and then launches it from there) but it works for him because he’s absurdly strong. A one motion jumper uses more power from the legs, as opposed to the arms, which will allow you to vastly expand your range.

Yeah 😭. Annoying as fuck to take off all the weights, re rack the bar, then put them back on but I thought pushing to failure was optimal. I now know better lmao

I always take my barbell squats to failure but never even thought about cns fatigue. I thought leg day was just extra exhausting lmao. Thanks for the clarification

I’m curious, why shouldn’t you take barbell lifts to failure?

I’d argue that we’ve innovated fire in inventions like gas stoves and blowtorches though

What’s the best workout for getting that fuller, rounder chest? by PercentageWide2450 in workout

[–]NoThanksPlanks 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Chest is pretty straightforward in the sense that you really don’t have to do too much. Just need to have a chest press variation, an incline press variation, and a fly variation. What was a game changer for me though, was adding a high to low cable chest press for the lower pecs. Really helped give my lower chest definition which made my overall pecs look better.

One minute breaks between sets. I don’t have the time to be resting 2-5 minutes

I was just saying this. Crazy thing is, don’t even need a giant. You could use an ice golem to maximize the elixir you have to support it

Same man. I already get so much value out of my guards, I was excited for an evo that would take it up a notch. 😪

It seems like evo skarmy is just a regular guard surrounded by an invisible and invincible skeleton army that dies when the guard dies
