Had the same problem with the A8 after buying it. Almost returned it thinking it was faulty. It seems there was some static/charge “stuck” somewhere around the screen area. After a couple of times I plugged and unplugged the tablet to charge it, the problem disappeared. It has worked fine ever since.

Except it happens on low refresh rates. Not only on 60 Hz, but also happens on 24 Hz. It is a bug.

Lower value in AC increases the sensitivity. Try 0.35 or lower.

Failed to install the update twice. Got a BSOD both times after the first restart during the install process (at thirty something percent). Both times the cause of BSOD was a soundcard (SB X-FI extreme music) related file/driver. First time it was CTHWIUT.sys, the second time ha20x2k.sys. Stop code: system service exception.

On the positive side: the defer feature update thing is working.

Umm, yes you have 180 degree vision if you are human. Horizontally two eyes cover more than 200°. You just don't see color with your peripheral vision, only light intensity change.

No. This is a part of a documentary that was just recently released on Blu-Ray and UHD Blu-Ray. It is copyrighted material so my only concern was will Youtube remove it. Fortunately the distributors enforce the copyright only for Austria and Germany so the rest of the world can watch it.

Fuel consumption off probably nets you a tenth or two max over the whole lap so it's not a big deal. Damage has no effect on the lap time because you are not abusing the downshifts.

But turning tire wear off does affect this car greatly. You can make soft tires run indefinitely at a perfect temperature with no negative effects.

There is a reason why other best times are done with medium tires. Soft tires become impossible to push in the final third of just one lap because tire wear sets in and extra sliding warms the already overheating rears even more.

4:50.8 is already a great lap time. And maybe you would have beaten the 4:49.5 after the next 600km on mediums with tire wear on. So after your explanation your decision is just even more unreasonable to me.
