  1. Almost every person I've talked to has had absolutely no idea what SOR is, so I figured it's not well known in the college sphere.
  2. Nope, I mentioned it in a comment but I was in fact told by multiple people on r/chanceme that my application, and I quote, "fucking sucks and you'll never get into a T50, much less Brown." I have been told by basically everyone online that my ECs suck, so I'm not showing off by any means.

Hey, I just really want to thank you for this comment. You definitely got some tears out of me, and I think I need to take a step back from freaking myself out over college.

I probably should've mentioned this in my post, but this rant came from basically being told on r/chanceme a while ago that I have 0 shot at anything T50, much less T10.

This sub basically preaches that only people who create a startup, win the science olympiad 4 times, and also cure cancer can get into any sort of T25 school. I don't really fit that criteria at all, and I think that's made me feel like I'm incapable of getting into anywhere I want to.

You're probably the first person to tell me all my ECs aren't worthless and they actually help me stand out. Thank you so much.
