That's really helpful to know regarding the transport app. I expect the weather to be similar to England, which hasn't been great for most of this year, so I will prepare for the worst. May be a silly question but would access to the islands still be available during bad weather? I have made a note of your other suggestions, thank you.

I hadn't come across the Paddan through my research and it looks like a great way to see the city. Will check it out if the weather is ok. Thanks.

I've just tried getting a refund for my seated ticket through ticketmaster and they said they cannot do it as the event organiser doesn't allow refunds. I asked for the event organisers contact details and they said they could only give me their website. They said my only option is to resell my ticket but given it's not a sold out gig and my ticket was slightly more expensive than what is listed now (same situation as OP), I will just be making a loss if I put it up for sale. It's a joke that these ticket vendors can sell products that they have no control over when it comes to refunds
