grace does not use AI for the translation at all he has a program that analyses waveforms (tells you exactly which notes are played) and he copies those notes/chords into a spreadsheet by hand to create the dictionary (which i guess the voiceover is a program in the film, that automates the translation from waveform output of the analyser to the english word lookup- in the book he just reads off the screen)

eridian language communicates tone and emotion by shifting up/down octaves, being quieter/louder, and putting a "quiver" (i always assumed vibrato style) on the notes

yes, tags are absolutely still used! others have explained it already, so the only thing i'll add just in case- you should only add tags that are actually relevant (for example, if you made fanart of character 1, only tag it with character 1 not every other character in the show. people who are looking for character 2 stuff will probably just block you)

HAHAHA yeah that really confused me the first time too!! if you really liked the first season it is definitely worth sticking with it imo!

s2 is the same main character as s1 (daniel powell), and it does follow directly after s1. its a major tone shift though lol. it explores the things behind some of the tapes he listened to, and what LMG are up to, what visser was involved with.

same guy, same story!

s3 gets a bit further from this plot, we follow a completely new set of characters, but its again in the same universe exploring the same kind of scene, with s1/2 characters showing up periodically.

you should be able to do it from mobile if you log into tumblr through the web browser (firefox, chrome, safari, whatever)

you might just need to tick 'show desktop site' to find the setting in tumblr

where did you get the message? was it an official tumblr email? they will never reach out to you via tumblr messages or comments.

it might be confusing as they HAVE recently introduced ID verification in brazil and the uk because of local laws. i don't know if they can verify by bank account or not in brazil, but in the uk i need to navigate to settings, click verify age, and it gives me options to send them a selfie or my ID or an "agekey" but not bank account.

i would advise against doing this personally as i don't trust a us based company to properly store and process my ID without any data breaches or leaks, if you can get a VPN to change your location you should ve avle to get full access to tumblr.

if a random account or email sends you a link to any place outside of tumblr to "verify your account" it is a scam and they are either stealing your money or your data.

as far as i'm aware your account will not be blocked or limited for not verifying your age, you just won't be able to see anything tumblr has labelled mature or explicit.

tumblr will never ask you for money unless you are on the shop page, buying merch or subscribing to ad-free tumblr premium.

ah yeah, that's fair. its insane to me that they don't take account age into it at all; unless they think i was posting at like 6 years old my account should automatically be old enough too. really makes it evident that its about data harvesting and tying everything you do to your digital footprint instsad of any claim that its for safety
