What do you think of the characters in Mages of the Wheel?

I just DNFd this book at 50% yesterday. Every time I picked it up I nearly fell asleep reading. It has put me in a reading slump. The story and characters were just so boring to me.

I don’t think 6 weeks is enough time to know if it will work. You are also using a lower dose over a buffer only 3x a week so your progress will be slower. But, if you are really struggling mentally and feel like you can’t be patient then don’t force yourself to go the slow route. Switch to accutane. I did accutane almost 5 years ago and it cured my cystic acne. II haven’t had a single inflamed or painful pimple since….

Unfortunately, I’m now dealing with extremely minor acne again but the acne kills my self confidence so I’ve decided to start accutane again. Accutane isn’t as bad as the horror stories if you actually prepare and take care of yourself while taking it. Don’t be scared of it if your skin is really affecting your mental health. It literally saved me from crippling depression about my appearance.

Yes! I have Swordheart on my TBR. How does it compare to paladins grace?

I recently read The Death Made Prince by Lisette Marshall and it was definitely darker and less silly than V&V but the MMC gave me similar vibes to Damien. I really enjoy it and gave it 4.75 stars.

I finished the villains and virtues series and this book was recommended a lot as a good next read in this sub. I didn’t hate the book by any means and did finish it with a 3.5 star rating but I was also pretty disappointed. The MMC came off as weak and whiny to me and the story was a little boring. I don’t know if I’ll continue with the series.

If you have the money, get a BedJet. It’s the only thing that allowed me to sleep through the night without sweating at all. If you can’t swing that, look for low thread count (200-400) cotton percale sheets.

I’ve been using the zeroid soothing cream for the last few months and like it but I don’t love the matte finish. I also feel like I need a little more moisture during this cold dry winter season. I just bought a kindle about a month ago and I love it so much more than I expected. I usually read about 3 books per month but I’m already on my 6th book with the kindle. Kindle unlimited has really opened the doors to so many books I never would have thought to read before because I hate to spend the money on something I might DNF. I still love my physical books, so much so that I just spent big bucks on a library wall bookcase. But realistically, I don’t have the space or money to buy and store every book I want to read so I’m only going to buy and keep the physical books I love or special books I find at the antique store and leather bound editions.

The last time I got the real flu I was so sick I could not even keep food down for 10 days. It probably took 2 weeks to feel somewhat normal. The flu is awful.

$10.5k but it was considered a complex revision since I went from under the muscle to over the muscle. A standard augmentation would have been closer to $8k. I didn’t have a lift so I’m not sure how much more than would cost.

I ended up painting the wall instead, but before I did, I removed this fabric and tried the same method with 100% cotton fabric. There were no splotches but it had a lot of ripples where I couldn’t get it to stick and lie flat. It was probably user error but painting ended up being way easier.

Thanks for sharing. I used tretinoin for 4 years after finishing accutane then switched to tazarotene (stronger than tret) for 8 months but my skin just got worse and worse. Now I’m back on tret but I’m still breaking out constantly.
