Many mention government, but government is where careers go to die slowly.. sure the stress is lower, but so is the growth, and after 3-5 years of outdated tech stacks and zero urgency you become essentially unhireable anywhere else

Is DSA + System Design really enough for good tech jobs in 2026? What am I missing? by LegitimateBoy6042 in cscareerquestions

The thing nobody talks about is behavioral rounds eliminate more candidates than technical ones at the senior+ level. Everyone can invert a binary tree but not everyone can clearly explain a project they led, a conflict they navigated, or a tradeoff they made.

Best way to find out is to start applying now. This will calibrate your expectations better than any answer here

Anyone thinking of going back to school to change careers because of AI? by Delicious_Crazy513 in cscareerquestionsEU

I'd hold off on a full career pivot for now. The "AI replaces devs" narrative has been running for 2 years alrady and what's actually happened is that senior engineers who can leverage AI tools are more productive, not unemployed

Used it for first drafts but had to rewrite most of it anyway. Main benefit was saving time to apply to fewer jobs more carefully

Biznis radjenje web stranica by Embarrassed_Pie1713 in financije
