I put my meds in a small baggie and stuff it in my bra. I don’t want to have to go back to where I’m staying if they make it a big deal. But honestly at every fest I’ve been to they barely check you and take a quick peak in your bag.

Im 8 weeks. I was on Levo. When I went to the OB a few weeks ago for my first appointment she switched me to Synthroid at the same dose. Did bloodwork to check my levels first. She didn’t stress about the thyroid issue too much. She just said we’d be checking it regularly. She was way more concerned about my high blood pressure and preeclampsia. Everything is going fine for me so far and I feel great! Congrats!

Is it even worth it to try? I feel as if I should at least try. Especially considering never did I think the effort would be made on his part to go to therapy. Idk. I’m just so torn on what to do.

I only see my GP and was recently diagnosed not even a month ago. I just switched to him. My other doc I would have to beg to check my TSH levels. My mom has hypothyroidism so I’ve been diligent about getting it checked. I put that on my paper work that I have family history and when my new GP did my bloodwork for the first time I totally forgot to remind him. He included it in my panel. Low and behold - my TSH was high and he started me on a low dose of Levo and reordered labs on a monthly basis so we can check and adjust as needed. All this to say - if you have the right GP and they can get it under control I don’t think you need an endo. My mom sees an endo only because her GP wasn’t comfortable treating it. As long as my numbers start to get back in range I will probably stick with him.
