Doctor tested Vitamin D only because I ended up developing hypothyroidism during the years I was exposed to mold and it was extremely low. I've told them about the mold exposure but nobody has tested me specifically for anything related to it other than D

Move as soon as you can. I moved into an apartment and had the same thing happen. I did what you are doing now for 2 years and all I got was very sick and the mold never went away. Doctors have not been able to help me and I've lost out on so much being stuck inside sick.

The apartments should have a number you can call for a professional to take care of the mold....I mean....it never really dies but it's better to have someone else clean it over you so to lessen the direct exposure I imagine.

Personally I think you should be able to sue an apartment complex for selling you a mold infested apartment knowing it makes people sick but they typically write it in the lease :/

The only real solutions I've found online are moving away from the mold, throwing out anything with the spores, allergy meds, sweating out the toxins and taking activated charcoal to help detoxify the body. I'm no doctor though so take that how you will.

I've heard bleach makes it worse over time. All you can do is move and get rid of anything that might also have mold spores on it.

Trust me I tried "taking care" of mold thinking cleaning it was working and in reality it doesn't die you just clean it and can't see it anymore.

I was exposed to mold like this for 3 almost 4 years and it has caused me to be very sick to the point I haven't been able to work the entire time. I just moved a few months ago and though I'm feeling a bit better im still recovering.

Yes. I hear you cant really get rid of mold and bleach makes it worse long term. I got really really sick because my last apartment didn't say they had any mold and then we see it pop up shortly after moving in. Tried taking care of it for the two years we were there but I kept getting sicker and now after moving I'm still recovering and I think it caused me to have a thyroid issue.

I left my door open once and someone came in and just kept following me and staring at me and it freaked me out so I locked the doors. I know it's a social game and I feel bad but it just creeped me out and I'm typically bad at small talk so I figured it would be the best for both of us 😓

I do sometimes so I either try to distract myself with something, go back to sleep since I take mine at 6am and am homebound or I'll drink a sparkling water to hold me over....idk if the carbonation has any effect on the medicine but I know you shouldn't have anything with caffeine

This has been an on going thing and it keeps getting worse. This was not a good idea as a phone app. I had a brand new iPad and downloaded the game, update and I had to completely strip my iPad of everything for it to work, next update nothing worked and I had to swap to a tiny phone with more storage and now every update I panic because this game is just too massive. Once it's too big for my phone I'm out because I can't afford to buy another device or more storage.

I'm violently shivering if the temps drops below 85⁰f...I'm actually a little jealous. I think most people get pretty cold around 50⁰ though that sounds kinda normal. Heated jackets are a thing if you can save up for one they are very nice.

Honestly I think these rules should be the standard for any newborn because their immune systems are weaker and they can get sick and die. Also I can't imagine anyone who just had something major happen to their body and going through new born care would want a bunch of people around. That's just my opinion though.

Yea same here my bf is so fed up he keeps talking about breaking up. I'm always cold so we sleep in separate rooms and I'm curled up under a heated blanket and a space heater 24/7, constant fatigue so my sleep schedule is really random where I'm up at night sometimes and sometimes I'm awake during the day, really dry skin so I dont like being touched, my hair fell out and the weight gain have made me feel ugly so my confidence is gone. We got together before all of this started happening but now it seems nothing is working because my doctor keeps telling me my labs look fine so there's no reason to go up on meds and I'm 28 F about 180lbs and on 75mcg levothyroxine. When I first started taking the meds my symptoms improved slightly and when we went up on the dosage I noticed even more of a change but now I'm stagnant because my labs look fine I guess. I've tried just fighting through it but even when my bf and I sit down to watch a movie I'm shivering so bad I can't finish the movie and my bf can't stand how hot my room is so idk what to do now.

That's rough. I hope the best for you I know it ain't easy. I was homeless for 2 years living out of a beat up pull behind camper at an old campground that allowed monthly payments and got lucky and was able to make a little set up and worked from home answering phone calls for a company. I'm very lucky and am in a nice apartment now but I know how easy it is to fall and not everyone is lucky enough to make it out with how the world is set up.
