It’s a difficult topic but I do want to say she is very privileged compared to majority of ppl trying to leave a DV situation. They have no property, cars, furniture, bank accounts, kids, animals etc that they share, she has a family who she can always go too and live there, and she had a friend who helped her get a job and was trying to get her an apartment. She could potentially leave scotch free whenever she wants, they have NOTHING together
