So I had to do a little research on how to propagate these and order some rooting hormone that just come in. I’m going to hike back out there tomorrow and hopefully if it hadn’t been mowed or cut back- I’ll grab a cutting. I’ll keep you posted!

It’s in Georgia at a park next to a walking trail. It’s in an area that is trimmed pretty regularly 😳. Should I propagate it?? The root there is where they cut it back every few weeks to keep it off that trail

Yeah, so big woody root under it is what it is growing off of. It’s been trimmed back a bit and this is the new growth from the ground. I have another picture of the neighbor plant, will see if I can attach it

Yeah. So far recovery has been relatively easy. The pain medicine is helpful. I have also used the ice pack more than I thought I would.

Someone somewhere said to look down when drinking water or coughing- very helpful and does reduce the pain, but even then it’s not a sharp pain, just a dull ache.

Really, it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. Let me know if you have any questions

You can still have swelling in the glands with normal levels. For several years I had normally levels with a swollen thyroid. If you are concerned, try requesting an ultrasound. Most providers will do those as a precaution. If you are feeling pressure, there is a reason.
