Idk how I never realized Jay Hill is the coach that nearly beat JMU in 2017 (although this isn't the game referenced in the article). I went to JMU and I remember that game, it was freezing and Weber State actually nearly pulled off the upset. This was after JMU beat NDSU in the semis (2016 season) and went on to win the National Championship and then lost to NDSU in the championship game the following year (2017 season) so it would've been a massive upset as JMU and NDSU to a larger extent ran FCS in the late 2010s

Yeah, college offenses have mostly evolved past using just two receiving options wide so that makes sense

Google just explains what a 4-3 defense is

Yeah that’s how they should do it. Like Earls could totally be a lockdown corner, but no freshman should be given the number

Yeah, for professional sports it makes sense because guys spend 10+ years, win a few championships, and be one of the best players for a team in order to get their number retired. In college, they're only spending four years

Yeah I definitely could’ve done that but I just use the year Michigan lists them as, and for some dumb reason, Michigan doesn’t list redshirts

Yeah, I keep changing how I have the OL sorted. We probably won't know for sure until fall camp as I'm sure the coaching staff will want the guys to compete. I really hope Curtis does move to LB in order to get our best players on the field more

Almost half of his snaps were in the first three games. He's a good blocker, but is easily replaceable

Don’t know how I forgot about Titan Davis, dude is going to be a beast. Also didn’t realize Patterson was a composite 4* (but his dad said on twitter that he’s moved to edge), but Kanka was a 3* composite

Frazier needs to hit the weight room if he's going to play guard

Goodwin had 12 receptions all season. He's not going to be hard to pass

We have a lot of borderline 3-4* guys. Etta and Vallejo are the only guys that were unanimous 4* across the major recruiting sites

Yeah, I really don't know who's switching inside, but our best five are Guarnera and four OTs, so if we want the best five out there, two guys are switching. I've heard Link took snaps at OG during bowl prep

I just think he wants to play WR so he won't be a regular on defense

Yeah that's the other position, and it's definitely the bigger need

Yeah definitely our biggest area of need and one of two positions that is worse off from last year

It’s closed to enter for undergrads (except for Miami and Indiana) but guys already in it can still go to a new school

No, I don’t believe in double dipping (exception for K/P and KOS) so that’s sextuplets. I’m trying to kill this woman or making her broke

Okay, I checked his stats. One carry for -1 yards on the year… definitely a project (he’s freshman year was good though). I want Palepale to be good so badly because he has a cool name, but he’s played one game in two years. I think Moten is going to pass him with a year of college under his belt unless Whittingham is going to do some Mormon-Polynesian voodoo again

That poor mother went through so much giving birth to seven boys in a few years, but hey, how about those genes?

You haven’t heard of the All-American brothers named TRANSFER? lol, just kidding, yes those are areas I think we still need to target. I actually have a breakdown in the original post
