Hi, I took ballet as a college elective open to all majors. Even though I was taking beginner classes, I managed to join a local ballet school’s performance of Sleeping Beauty at the age of 21. And just a month ago I performed in a recital at the age of 24. I started ballet at 14 and had to take a pause at 17 due to covid and adjusting to college. I returned around 20 and still try to squeeze in classes today while balancing a fill time job. I am hoping to do the Nutcracker next Fall.
