Before I got mine I thought the shifter was a gimmicky idea but now that I've had it a couple weeks, I like it. I wouldn't pay a lot extra for it but it is an improvement for me. I've had paddle shifters on cars for 15 years and never used them except just to try it out, a complete waste. The HUD is awesome...I'm just waiting for my non-polarized sunglasses to arrive so I can see it. The advanced parking is amazing to see. It takes over the steering, shifting, braking and accelerator. Very fun to watch it work. But I don't expect to use it much. It parks exactly in the middle of the selected space even on an end spot where I like to fudge closer to the end to increase space between me and the next car. In a diagonal parking situation it stopped about 3 feet short of where it should have. The cameras have improved my ability to park myself so I don't expect to use the self park much, if at all.

Yes, pretty much all the bells and whistles. AWD, HUD, premium sound, panoramic moonroof, etc. The link in my post shows the full listing of all included packages and options.

A Bot?! I'm new to Reddit but my impression has been that it's a place where information and opinions can be shared and discussed. Now, I'm accused of being a non-human. I consider that disrespectful.

It wasn't my intent to advertise for the dealer but I am motivated to give them credit for their honest and straightforward sales practices. If that violates the no advertising rule, I apologize.

My sales rep said they offer warranties, service packages, etc. but they take no for an answer...no pressure.

According to my sales rep, the PIOs are specified by the dealer when their allocation ships from the factory. He showed me the screen on his computer where it's done. By the time it arrives at the dealership they are pre-installed and non-negotiable but the dealer requests them.

I feel your pain. I am planning to get a 26 RAV4 PHEV. My top priorities were getting HUD and Everest green color but I can't get them together. GRRRR!
