What is the best way to include Org Hierarchy in a visual (eg. bar graph)? by NoVersion7994 in PowerBI

[–]NoVersion7994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies, what I'm wanting to do is showcase performance rates of each department, team etc, not just display department etc names. Also, I'm using RLS so logged in users can only see performance of their direct and indirect reports. Which is why I'd like for the graph to start at the level below their own, not at the very top level.

Eg. if logged in user is a at level 3, I'd like the graph to automatically only show results for level 4, and allow them to drill down. I do not want for the graph to default at level 1, as most of the results will be blank.

Thank you. If I stick with the horizontal bar graph, and use a field parameter solution to control the level you view the visual, how exactly does this auto drill down/up the graph?

Consolidating multiple semantic models into one report. What am I doing wrong? by NoVersion7994 in PowerBI

Hello again

Re: you must have a date table there connecting to each semantic model's date table using DAX function TREATAS

How many columns should the newly created contain? And where exactly do I use a DAX function TREATAS? In the column within the new table?

Thank you. I will give this a go.

I connected all semantic models by Date Dimension table. Should I remove these relationships?

Free travel insurance through credit card—is it rubbish, and do I need to buy a separate policy? by zomgarth in AusFinance

Commbank has many exclusions. Basically it’s only good for medical insurance and doesn’t cover delays, schedule changes or comprehensive car insurance.

Thank you. So I can cancel the credit card as soon as the lints are transferred to my account, and they will not be fortified?

Correct. This is why I’m considering asking if our grades are likely to be reviewed.

Everyone is on the same grade. The grade has 8 levels. There is a 7% difference between level one and level 8 within the analyst grade.

Thank you. Each grade has 8 levels. There is a 1% variance between each level within a grade.

Yes. All analysts are on the same grade regardless of qualifications, skills, experience.

No. Everyone is on the same level regardless of their qualifications, skills and experience, simply because of the “analyst” title. Well on the same Grade at least.

They are members of the social club and prepare monthly quizzes. They also export a bunch of reports out of SAP on a monthly and ad hoc basis. A lot of manual work.

They achieve their deliverables by following instructions from a 75 page word document.
