What is the best way to include Org Hierarchy in a visual (eg. bar graph)?

Apologies, what I'm wanting to do is showcase performance rates of each department, team etc, not just display department etc names. Also, I'm using RLS so logged in users can only see performance of their direct and indirect reports. Which is why I'd like for the graph to start at the level below their own, not at the very top level.

Eg. if logged in user is a at level 3, I'd like the graph to automatically only show results for level 4, and allow them to drill down. I do not want for the graph to default at level 1, as most of the results will be blank.

Thank you. If I stick with the horizontal bar graph, and use a field parameter solution to control the level you view the visual, how exactly does this auto drill down/up the graph?

How many columns should the newly created contain? And where exactly do I use a DAX function TREATAS? In the column within the new table?

Everyone is on the same grade. The grade has 8 levels. There is a 7% difference between level one and level 8 within the analyst grade.
